Farmers will have an opportunity to bid on seed, fertilizer and crop protection products at Farm Rescue’s annual banquet on Friday, Oct. 14, at the Best Western Ramkota Hotel in Bismarck.
Nearly $50,000 in donated farm commodities will be available in a silent auction that will raise money for the nonprofit organization. In addition, Ducks Unlimited prints, furniture, toy tractors and many other items will also be auctioned. The event starts at 5 p.m.
Hannah Crossen, a former FFA state president in Ohio and a national FFA regional vice president, will be keynoting the banquet along with Farm Rescue founder Bill Gross. Comedienne Maxine Jeffris is providing the evening’s entertainment.
A six-night Alaskan adventure trip to Anchorage also will be given away at the banquet to someone in attendance. For tickets, go to farmrescue.org and click on “shop” or call 701-252-2017. The event is open to the public.
