Rabo AgriFinance announces the opening of a new office in Pierre, South Dakota. The new office will house Jason Barnes as the office lead, and Phil Ringstmeyer as a relationship analyst.
Barnes and Ringstmeyer will work with farmers and ranchers in the region to help them grow and succeed by providing agriculture real estate loans, operating lines of credit, crop insurance and more. 
“Rabo AgriFinance has experienced tremendous growth in the Dakotas over the past decade. Adding an office in this region, enhances our ability to provide ag lending services as we work toward becoming the premier ag lender in South Dakota and beyond,” says Scott Peterson, regional vice president. “With nearly 20 years combined experience, Jason and Phil will be partnering with growers and producers and become a strong asset to Rabo AgriFinance, as well as our current and future clients.”
Barnes has 12 years of experience in agricultural financing, specializing in beef and crop production. His expertise and leadership will prove valuable in Central South Dakota, where cow/calf and yearling beef operations and wheat and corn production represent the top ag operations. The new office will be the third office in the Central “The new office will allow Rabo AgriFinance to better serve farmers and ranchers in South Dakota,” says Barnes. “I look forward to partnering with our clients to continue to grow and serve agriculture in South Dakota.”
And, Rabo AgriFinance announced the appointment of Chris Petersen as a senior relationship manager in Minnesota. He will be based in the company’s Marshall, Minn., office.
“Chris’ expertise in row crops, swine and poultry add to Rabo AgriFinance’s continued growth in Minnesota,” says Jeff Bly, regional vice president for Rabo AgriFinance. “Chris’ proven record of successfully partnering with farmers and ranchers shows he will be a strong asset to Rabo AgriFinance, as well as our current and future clients.”
Petersen brings more than 30 years of expertise in the banking industry. His expertise in row crop and swine financing will help the farmers and ranchers in Southwest and West Central Minnesota and Northeast South Dakota.
