The American Ag Network is excited to announce Mike Adams is joining the network team with a new hour-long weekday show, Adams on Agriculture. This national agricultural talk radio show will feature a mix of commentary on agricultural issues and interviews with decision makers such as members of Congress, USDA personnel and leaders of agricultural organizations. In-depth topics of discussion include Farm Bill, trade and new technology as well as important issues facing rural America such as infrastructure, immigration and health care.
Adams on Agriculture will also provide market information as well as a national and international overview of weather conditions impacting growing conditions and markets. Throughout the year, Adams on Agriculture will originate on location from several major national agricultural meetings and events.
Show host Mike Adams is a 44-year broadcast veteran as well as a past president of the National Association of Farm Broadcasting and recipient of the national Farm Broadcaster of the Year award. He joins the American Ag Network team led by Farm News Director Rusty Halvorson, an award-winning and respected farm broadcaster in the Dakotas for the past 22 years. Digital Director/Farm Broadcaster Sabrina Hill was brought on board earlier this year, with more than 20 years in news and media.
“The addition of Mike Adams and Adams on Agriculture adds to the strength of the American Ag Network,” said Lance Knudson, network general manager. “We were in a position to grow, and adding a fresh, national show was a natural fit. Mike is the perfect addition to the team we’ve built.”
Adams on Agriculture from the American Ag Network hits airwaves in March.
