I was raised on a farm and because of my love for it we raised our children on a farm. It is true that our government is just trying to eliminate self motivation and independent thinking that are both highly developed in farm kids. You rarely see farm kids playing video games hours on end because they have chores to do, but in doing these chores they develop a sense of responsibility, work ethics and a love for the land.

Nothing can substitute for a rural life style and that is what's wrong with our society today. Drugs, alcohol, gangs, murders, lack of respect and the list goes on. You see far less of this behavior in farm raised kids than in city kids, so please don't try to take the solid foundation that hard work and farm life give a kid, which makes them a valuable member of society instead of one of the problems.

To Whom It May Concern:
I would like for you to consider leaving the Harding County FSA office open in Buffalo, SD. We are a rural area and having to drive to Bison or Belle Fourche will cost the Ranchers and Producers alot. With expenses rising every day, we need help. Please consider there is already a building shared with the NRCS, so the major cost of a building is already provided for. The employees in the FSA office in Buffalo are always extremely busy and I feel that with phones and computers you could leave help here with the CEO overseeing both Bison and Buffalo. Please consider the Harding County Producers when making your decision. Thank you

Closing the FSA office in Harding County, SD will propose a financial hardship on our operation as well as many other producers in our area. Driving to Bison or Belle Fourche with the cost of fuel will be costly. At present we already have a building that the NRCS occupies, so the cost is there anyway. We would like to leave the office here in Harding County open, with computer technology, you could have the CEO do both Bison and Buffalo. Please consider us and our concerns. Thank you

We are hoping for this bill to pass so we can help the environment. We have a biodiesel plant that we wish to start operating on brown grease. The government has one operating already and we have the opportunity to start this business in a rural area of ga. with Raptor inc. the mfg. please keep me posted on the progress you are making in Congress.

It appears to me that someone made what will obviously amount to an error causing milliions of dollars in property damage and could ultimately lead to a fatal error for many in their calculation or prediction of the amount of water coming into the reservoir(s) this year. This person or persons who was evidentially attempting to keep the water in the reservoir(s) up at a suitable recreational level over the past winter has now caused people downstream to have to flee for their lives and leave their homes for the flood water to destroy. I don't believe it's hindsight to say that the property damage downstream could have been reduced or even held to a minimum with better foresight! The Missouri River level was again dropped over the winter, when with better calculations or at a minimal predictive skills based on the excessive snow accumulation in the mountains... more water could have been let out to flow down stream over the winter without flooding the river banks. Better preparation for the anticipated snow melt over the summer could have reduced or even eliminated the heart break, financial devistation and potential loss of lives that are coming with the flooding downstream !!!
