Hoeven congratulates Makoti native Everett Dobrinski for White House award

Senator Hoeven congratulated North Dakota farmer and businessman Everett Dobrinski Friday for his recognition by the White House as a “Champion of Change.” Dobrinski is being honored for his contributions to his state and community.

“Everett Dobrinski embodies North Dakota’s hardworking spirit,” Hoeven said. “Through agribusiness leadership and community engagement, he makes his hometown and the State of North Dakota a better place to live and do business.”

Dobrinski owns and operates Dobrinski Farm, a cereal grain and oilseed farm near Makoti, N.D. He serves as board chairman of both CoBank and Verendrye Electric Cooperative.

The White House “Champion of Change” program highlights everyday Americans for their extraordinary contributions to their communities. This week, the program is focusing on people from communities across rural America.
