2012 Farm Bill: Issues and Challenges two-day conference in Fargo

Senator Kent Conrad is hosting a two-day conference with national ag leaders next week to examine the major changes being proposed to the nation’s agriculture policy.

Senator Conrad will be joined by Dr. Won W. Koo, Director, Center for Agricultural Policy and Trade Studies at North Dakota State University, to host “202 Farm Bill: Issues and Challenges.” Doctor Koo says the two-day conference today and tomorrow in Fargo will include several high profile speakers, leading agricultural economists and a policy discussion with Senator Conrad, Senator John Hoeven Senator Amy Klobuchar and Congressman Rick Berg.

Same day registration beings at 7 a.m. Walk-in registrations will be accepted, there is a $180 fee for the conference which includes meals and conference materials.
