2012 Commodity Classic: Poncho/VOTiVO new for soybeans this year

While talking with Ethan Luth, seed treatment product manager for Bayer CropScience, at 2012 Commodity Classic last week, we learned about the advantages of Poncho/VOTiVO for corn and soybeans.

The product was new for corn last year Luth says, and this year it is out for soybeans to protect from soybean cyst nematode. Luth says that VOTiVO grows with the root system of the plant, forming a barrier of protection.

Luth also says, that based on recent commodity prices, they have seen about a 4-1 return on investment when growers would purchase Poncho/VOTiVO.
