ND’s Rural Electric Co-op students meet with Congressman Berg in Washington, D.C.

Congressman Rick Berg recently met with twelve Rural Electric Co-op students from across North Dakota in his Washington, D.C. office.

“It was a pleasure meeting with the students of the Rural Electric Co-op,” stated Berg.  “This is an annual trip for the co-op students of Rural Electric, and we all love it when they are in town.  These students are bright and inquisitive, and we really enjoyed having them stop by.”

Rural Electric Cooperative brought twelve students from across North Dakota to the annual convention, where they joined over 1,500 students from 41 states. The students all wrote winning essays, and were selected in the competition for an expense paid trip to Washington, D.C.
