Huron Butler Machinery celebrates grand opening

Butler Machinery Company celebrated the grand opening and ribbon cutting of its newest store in Huron, S.D., on Wednesday, June 27th. The newly constructed store is located at 1715 Highway 14 West and is part of Butler Machinery’s commitment to expanding construction and agricultural sales, parts and service to the central South Dakota area.

Butler Machinery President Dan Butler said of the store, “The Huron store will further assist our efforts in providing service, parts and sales to current and future customers of the central South Dakota area. We are very happy to be here in Huron.”

“It’s fantastic that Butler Machinery is here, not only with their agricultural equipment, but with their construction equipment as well. We couldn’t be happier they’re here. I want to thank Dan Butler and his company for believing in Huron,” said David McGirr, Mayor, Huron, S.D.

Construction on Butler Machinery’s Huron location, a 25,700 square foot facility, began in the fall of 2011 and concluded in May 2012.

The store currently employs 15 associates, and once fully-staffed, the facility will employ approximately 25 associates.
