The North Dakota Livestock Alliance joins Midwest Dairy in celebration of Northern Lights Dairy’s Breakfast on the Farm open house to be held Saturday, June 16th from 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. The Holle family, who owns and operates Northern Lights Dairy, is recognizing National Dairy Month by opening their dairy farm for a fun-filled day of free family-friendly games, food and guided farm tours. The North Dakota Livestock Alliance encourages the public to attend this event to celebrate North Dakota’s dairy industry and to see the tremendous care taken to produce the dairy foods consumers enjoy. There is no charge to attend.
Northern Lights Dairy is a fourth-generation, 600-cow dairy farm located at 2165 54th St. Mandan, North Dakota. This is the Holle’s fourth Breakfast on the Farm and they are excited for another opportunity to share their family’s dairy heritage.
This year’s event features hayrides, face painting, a meet and greet with North Dakota’s Dairy Princess, guided farm tours, vendor booths and displays, equipment displays and demos, a petting zoo and much more! The food includes pizza, donuts, ice cream, milk, yogurt and sausage provided by Dominos, BearScat Donuts, Land O’Lakes and Cloverdale.
