To start off the week, soybeans and Minneapolis wheat are trading higher, while corn Chicago and Kansas City wheat are trading lower.
December 15th is the deadline for an increase in tariffs against China, although news reports last week implied talks between the two counties are still ongoing.
On Friday, hog futures did not react to the news out of China as the front months ended lower, the back months ended a bit higher. The cattle futures ended in the green. This trend continued throughout the week as traders look toward the holiday season coming up.
