WASHINGTON D.C.- USDA has announced more sales to China on the daily export wire. Old crop corn and new crop soybeans were on the wire here today and it continues China’s recent surge in buying US grain. Today’s exports showed:
- Export sales of 2,108,000 metric tons of corn for delivery to China during the 2020/2021 marketing year; and
- Export sales of 132,000 metric tons of soybeans for delivery to China during the 2021/2022 marketing year.
In the past four days, China has bought 230 mb of U.S. corn. The marketing year for corn and soybeans began Sept. 1.
