Closing Market Update- 2/1/21- Corn and New Crop Soybeans Rally Late to Close Higher


March corn posted another new contract closing high Monday after Mexico and Japan bought 9 million bushels for export. All three U.S. wheats were lower but are hanging onto their uptrends with dry conditions still a concern. New crop soybeans also rallied late to finish with some decent strength on the session. Livestock were mixed with feeder cattle higher amid the sag in corn prices much of the day. Farm and Ranch Director Jesse Allen has your closing report:
