Overnight Market Report- 2/4/21- Corn Pushes Higher Ahead of Thursday’s Export Reports

Corn trade pushed higher overnight with the soy complex and wheat mixed in light trade. Livestock trade is expected to remain steady to higher with more cash cattle activity today.  Early Thursday, outside markets are mixed with U.S. stock futures and European stocks trading a little higher and the March U.S. Dollar Index also trading higher. The Wall Street Journal reported President Biden is open to limiting the number of people that qualify for $1,400 payments in the stimulus plan, currently being worked on. March crude oil continues to push into its highest prices in a year after the U.S. Energy Department said crude oil supplies were down 1.0 million barrels last week. Other commodities are mostly higher early Thursday, but silver and gold are starting lower.
