Spring wheat fell hard on Monday with rain in the forecast for the Northern Plains and Canadian Prairies. September Minneapolis wheat closed down 25 1/2 cents Monday, the largest percentage loss on the commodity board with that rain in the forecast for the
northwestern U.S. Plains. Row crops were firmer with July corn up 8 3/4 cents. Overall, wheat weighed down the corn and soybean markets on the day. Livestock were mixed and quiet on the day in both cattle and hogs as we struggle to find direction and stay rangebound.
