(Jamestown, ND) — Archer-Daniels Midland and Marathon Petroleum are teaming up to operate a soybean processing plant near Jamestown. The plant will provide soybean oil for Marathon’s renewable Diesel plant near Dickinson. ADM will control 75-percent of the soybean facility joint venture, with Marathon owning the rest. The plant is expected to be completed in 2023 in Spiritwood and is set to produce 600-million pounds of soybean oil each year.
