Wheat markets were the star of the show once again on Friday. December Chicago wheat closed up 29 3/4 cents and December KC wheat was up 27 3/4 cents, the percentage leaders among Friday’s grain contracts with a second day of support from Thursday’s bullish USDA estimates. November soybeans fell 9 1/2 cents to their lowest close in six months. Corn had a moderately higher day. Livestock trade was mixed on the session as hogs wrapped up a strong week.
