We saw new highs in Minneapolis wheat, Paris wheat and oats were limit higher as the small grains surge continues. All but Chicago and Kansas City wheat finished firmer. Minneapolis December wheat, which scored a new contract high near $9.50 per bushel, never traded lower throughout the day. Oats now sit at 622 and 3/4 and also at a premium to corn, which is rare. Soybean export sales continue lag last year as traders await China’s return from a week-long holiday. We also saw more strength in cattle with firm cash trade this week and hogs held in positive territory with spillover from cattle.
