In line with St. Patrick’s Day, most of the grain-related quotes on Thursday’s futures board were as green as the Chicago River. Continuous fighting in Ukraine and nonstop reports of Russians shelling civilians add to concerns that it will be very difficult for the country to produce any exportable crops in 2022. Funds were buyers again on Thursday of corn and soybeans after selling on Wednesday. Meantime, the livestock trade was mostly lower with the higher feed prices.
