Closing Market Report- 4/6/22- Mostly Lower Day in Grains; Livestock Up Moderately

It was a mostly inside trading day in grains today with only KC wheat finishing mixed. Overall, grain and oilseed markets did hold up well in the face of the stock market under pressure. Some of it could be profit taking ahead of Thursday’s CONAB report and Friday’s April WASDE report from USDA. Livestock were higher as we saw cattle and hogs both find support amid lower grain prices and a lower stock market.
