The May 2022 Cattle on Feed report is out from USDA and it showed cattle on feed up 2% from 2021 and the highest on feed number for May 1st since the series began in 1996. Marketings were 2% below 2021 while placements were 1% below 2021 levels. Other disappearance came in 2% below 2021 as well.
