After what started out as a risk-off day again in the grain markets, we saw all grains rally off the lows by the end of Wednesday’s session. Spring wheat was the upside leader followed by old-crop corn with the soy market under the most pressure when it was all said and done. Overall, the market focused on various news items in the trade including the Russia/Ukraine situation regarding grain exports from Ukraine, the China/Brazil news, planting challenges with weather and more. Meantime, cattle and hogs both faded on the day Wednesday.
