Planting Continues to Be a Struggle for Many in North Dakota and Northwest Minnesota

As we near the end of May and near key crop insurance final planting dates, we continue to watch planting delays across much of the Northern Plains. Specifically, the Red River Valley has been an area very hard hit this spring by flooding which is delaying planting. The trade will be closely watching this afternoon’s crop progress report to see what planting progress was made last week in the region.
