Closing Market Report- 6/15/22- Mixed Day in Grains, Livestock Higher and Fed Interest Rate Hikes

The wheat markets continued to slip lower Wednesday as hot and dry weather in the Southern Plains allowed an acceleration of harvest. Soybeans, on the heels of a sharp drop in both export and domestic soy basis, leaked lower on spot July. Corn went the opposite way, with spot July very firm. We also a strong cattle market and decent strength in lean hogs on Wednesday.
