I spoke with Jed Brazier who is the Communications & Marketing Director with NortHarvest Bean Growers Association. We discuss an exciting scholarship opportunity they are providing to children and grandchildren of a NortHarvest producer member.
The Northarvest Bean Growers Association (NBGA), comprised of dry bean growers from North Dakota & Minnesota, is excited to offer two $2,000 scholarship opportunities to the children/grandchildren of a Northarvest producer member.
This award is available to individuals who meet the following requirements:
1) A parent or grandparent that must be a current participating grower member of the Northarvest Bean Growers Association.
2) Applicant must be planning to enroll in a university, college or technical school and have not previously been awarded a scholarship from NBGA.
3) Applicants must be willing to provide a brief video of why dry beans and agriculture have been important to themselves or their families.
4) Applicant must return a complete application NO LATER than August 1st, 2022.
