Weekly Export Sales- 6/24/22- Marketing Year Low for Old Crop Soybeans; Corn Exports Higher

On this week’s Weekly Export Sales report, we saw a marketing year low for old crop soybeans while corn exports were up noticeably from last week. Soybean net sales of 29,300 MT for 2021/2022–a marketing-year low–were down 91 percent from the previous week and 88 percent from the prior 4-week average.

Corn net sales of 671,900 MT for 2021/2022 were up noticeably from the previous week and from the prior 4-week average.  Increases primarily for Mexico (475,000 MT, including decreases of 900 MT) and Japan (158,600 MT, including 68,000 MT switched from China) were reported this week.

According to USDA, combined old and new crop totals were 40.6 million bushels (mb) of corn and 10.8 mb of soybeans were sold during the week ended June 16, 2022. You can read the full report here: https://apps.fas.usda.gov/export-sales/highlite.htm
