Senator Cramer Talks Fufeng Group Land Purchase, Farm Bill and More

North Dakota Republican Senator Kevin Cramer sat down with Farm and Ranch Director Jesse Allen to discuss a wide range of agricultural issues pertaining to the U.S. and North Dakota. They start their conversation discussing the Fufeng Group land purchase near the Grand Forks Air Force Base for a corn wet mill plant. Cramer believes it is a national security and food security issue and has asked for a review of the purchase by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States along with Senator John Hoeven (R-ND) and Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL). They have been joined by North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum as well.

Cramer also discusses recent EPA actions and potential overreach as well as the recent Supreme Court decision in EPA v West Virginia. The conversation also turns towards the Farm Bill discussions on-going for 2023 as well as biofuels and high energy prices. Listen to the full conversation below.
