Spring Wheat Tour Finds Good Yields on Day 1

The Wheat Quality Council Hard Spring Wheat and Durum tour kicked off on Tuesday as routes headed from Fargo, ND to Mandan, ND for their evening stop. The tour assessed some 120 fields in North Dakota and parts of Northwest Minnesota and found an average yield of 48.9 bushels per acre. The durum estimate came in at 41.4 bushels per acre.

American Ag Network’s Richard Ristvedt was on the tour for day one; stay tuned for his updates from the tour and also for more updates as the tour continues on this week by making its way across North Dakota and back to Fargo.
