The Wheat Quality Council Hard Spring Wheat and Durum tour kicked off on Tuesday as routes headed from Fargo, ND to Mandan, ND for their evening stop. The tour assessed some 120 fields in North Dakota and parts of Northwest Minnesota and found an average yield of 48.9 bushels per acre. The durum estimate came in at 41.4 bushels per acre.
