Portland, OR (July, 2022) In a recent paper published in the Annals of Internal Medicine, the American College of Physicians (ACP) declared that inadequate access to nutrition has become a public health threat, with about 10% of the U.S. population suffering from food insecurity.[1] According to the paper, economic fallout from the COVID-19 pandemic may have interrupted years of progress in reducing the food insecurity rate in the United States.
