Closing Market Report- 9/16/22- Wheat Rallies and Pulls Grains Off Lows

Grains were weaker early until news of Russian President Putin threatening to again leave the Ukraine grain deal led to wheat rallying on Friday’s session. Corn and soybeans finished mixed around unchanged as wheat pulled the market higher. Livestock trade was relatively quiet on Friday’s session. For the week this week, December corn closed down 7 3/4 cents, with March corn down 6 1/4 cents. November soybeans closed up 36 1/4, with January up 37 3/4 cents. Kansas City December wheat closed up 6 cents, with Chicago Dec down 9 3/4, and Minneapolis Dec up 8 3/4 cents for the week.
