Grains were higher on the day Friday as soybeans, soybean oil and wheat led amid short covering headed to the Labor Day weekend. Markets have been fairly “risk off” this week with many outside market fears playing into the ag commodities. Those fears are still there but some traders appeared to not want to go into a long weekend short as they watch weather forecasts, outside factors and more.
