Monday trade started out ok but quickly accelerated to the downside in grains, livestock, energies and stocks. It was more “risk-off” sentiment on the day as global recession fears continue to weigh on the trade and money continues to move out of commodities. End of the month and end of quarter pressure could be there as well as seasonal harvest pressure. Friday, USDA will release it’s Quarterly Grain Stocks number and the trade will be watching that closely.
