As we wrapped up the week and the month of October, trade action was more of the same by the end of the day. In what started as “risk-off” trade quickly turned into mixed trade with soybeans and meal finding support through the close. Corn remains supported despite poor exports as basis firms in the countryside. Lean hogs also recovered from Thursday losses to trade higher and the Dow Jones was up over 900 points.
