In this week’s Crop Progress report from USDA, we see that harvest continues to rapidly move forward nationwide. Soybean harvest is now 80% complete as of Sunday, October 23rd while corn harvest nationwide is at 61% completion.
North Dakota corn is 48% harvested, South Dakota is at 64%, Iowa at 59%, Minnesota at 61% and Nebraska corn harvest is 65% complete. Soybean harvest in North Dakota is now 92% complete, South Dakota is at 93%, Iowa at 88%, Minnesota at 95% and Nebraska is at 93% complete on soybean harvest as of Sunday.
Winter wheat planting nationwide is 79% complete with 49% emerged as of Sunday.
Sugarbeet harvest is 68% complete nationwide with North Dakota at 95% and Minnesota at 96%. Sunflowers are 31% harvested as of Sunday with North Dakota at 39% and South Dakota at 32%.
