Recently American Ag Network had an opportunity to chat with Mike Larson, who is the corn guru, of Peterson Farms Seed about the history of Yellow Dent Corn. He took us through the journey from a small wheat-like plant known as teosinte in Mexico to Reid’s Yellow Dent corn that we produce today and is the 3rd most cultivated crop in the world.
