(Pierre, SD) — An out-of-state co-op is having its South Dakota grain-buying license revoked. “Organic Producers of Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota” is based in North Bend, Nebraska, and reportedly engaged in more than 30 transactions before obtaining a valid state license. The South Dakota Public Utilities Commission agreed to a settlement that also included a five-thousand-dollar fine. The co-op can apply for a new state license next June.
