(Bismarck, ND) — A concurrent resolution is urging the Secretary of the Interior and the Director of the National Park Service to preserve livestock in Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The resolution argues the livestock benefit the park through grazing. It also recognizes the interpretive, cultural, and historical value the herd of longhorn steers and wild horses provides the park. The bill passed the Senate unanimously and is headed to the House.
