(WASHINGTON D.C.)- Pork export sales for the week ended April 20th, 2023 came in at a marketing year high while the grain numbers for the week were lackluster.
Pork net sales were 54,000 MT on the week with Mexico, Japan and Canada the top three buyers. Beef net sales were a dismal 9,500 MT which was down 50% from last week.
Japan was the featured buyer of corn while Mexico was the featured soybean buyer for the week ending April 20th. Overall, the numbers in all grains were not overly impressive when you combine old and new crop sales.
