(WASHINGTON D.C.)- We saw a fairly modest week of export sales for the week ended April 6th, 2023 according to USDA’s Weekly Export Sales Report out Thursday morning.
China bought a net 0.5 million bushels of old crop and 2.4 million bushels of new crop soybeans on the week. On the corn side, Mexico bought a net 11.5 million bushels while China had 5.5 million bushels of corn (some of which was a switch from unknown).
Both beef and pork sales were down substantially on the week; 36% and 49% respectively in the week ended April 6th.
