(Beadle County, SD) — A pair of turkey farms in North and South Dakota have been hit with bird flu. Animal health officials found avian influenza last week in Dickey County, along the South Dakota border. At least 58-thousand-500 birds were affected in the outbreak. The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service found bird flu last week in a Beadle County, South Dakota at a commercial turkey meet farm. Producers will have to cull nearly 76-thousand birds.
