(Washington, DC) — The number of job openings are at a nearly two-year low. New numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics released Tuesday showed there were a total of almost nine-point-six-million job openings in March. That’s the lowest number since May of 2021. The total job openings were also down from the nearly ten-million reported for February. The drop in job openings comes as the Federal Reserve continues to try to cool off the economy.
