Hearing On CO2 Pipeline Scheduled

(Bismarck, ND) — The fifth public hearing for a proposed CO2 pipeline is scheduled to take place Friday. Named the “Midwest Carbon Express”, the pipeline would extend 320 miles from Ames, Iowa to Center, North Dakota, passing just outside of Bismarck. Some residents have concerns about safety, and the hearing will allow for questions and comments from the general public. This includes former Bismarck Mayor Jon Warford, who owns property in the direct path of the pipeline. The hearing will begin at 8:30 AM at the Russell Reid Auditorium in Bismarck.
