Noem Speaks Out About CO2 Pipeline Special Session Calls

(Sioux Falls, SD) — Governor Noem is voicing where she’s at with the current commotion surrounding carbon dioxide pipelines potentially being built in the state. She addressed the topic after her big announcement in Sioux Falls Wednesday to expand medication stockpiles. Noem doesn’t want to call for a special session on the pipeline dilemma and eminent domain, saying it would be pointless right now. There’s currently no ability to pass a new bill, according to the governor. She said, “Until statute is changed, the constitution is changed, I’m going to continue to fight for landowners but also recognize we are a state that follows its laws.”
