Summit Carbon Solutions Taking New Approach For CO2 Pipeline

(Pierre, SD) — Summit Carbon Solutions is planning to resubmit its construction permit for its CO2 pipeline with a new approach. The South Dakota Public Utilities Commission denied the original application earlier this month. Summit Carbon is also trying to drop pending lawsuits against landowners. The company now wants to prioritize building relationships with South Dakota communities moving forward. Sabrina Zenor with Summit Carbon is encouraging landowners and anyone else interested to come to the table and have a discussion with Summit as the company moves forward with planning its new CO2 pipeline application.
