Farm Credit Statement on New Farm Service Agency Rule

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Farm Credit Council President and CEO Todd Van Hoose issued a statement following the Farm Service Agency’s final rule, titled “Enhancing Program Access and Delivery for Farm Loans”:

“Farm Credit welcomes the new Farm Service Agency rule, which enhances FSA’s flexibility to better support farmers and encourages collaboration with Farm Credit lenders. We are committed to serving rural communities and agriculture, and these changes will strengthen our efforts to support farmers, especially young and beginning farmers.”
