Pierre, SD –BEEF is back at the 2024 Sanford International for the seventh year where the South Dakota Beef Industry Council (SDBIC) and Beef Logic Inc., a contractor to the South Dakota Beef Checkoff, headlines BEEF as the premier protein of the event. This year’s PGA Tour Champions tournament will take place in Sioux Falls, South Dakota September 9-15, 2024, at the Minnehaha Country Club with golf enthusiasts from all over the world in attendance.
The “Ranch” which is located in the 1st, 2nd, 17th, and 18th hole viewing areas is a destination oasis that offers attendees an opportunity to sit back and relax as they learn about beef enjoying tournament play. While at the “Ranch” attendees will have the chance to enjoy the “Rancher’s Ribeye” sandwich, the official sandwich of tournament.
During the Pro-Am Tournament on Wednesday and Thursday, South Dakota Beef and Beef Logic, Inc. are proud to once again partner with Dakota Butcher to provide ribeye sandwiches in the Military and First Responders’ Tent. South Dakota Junior Beef Ambassadors will assist in serving sandwiches, as well as serve as caddies during the event.
Back by popular demand, the Beef BBQ Contest of Champions will take place on Saturday, September 14, 2024 beginning immediately after play at the Minnehaha Country Club Driving Range area. Beef Logic Inc. Executive Director, Suzy Geppert says the Beef BBQ Contest of Champions will provide a lot of fun and excitement to the venue. “Barbeque continues to be one of America’s favorite pastimes! We’ve invited back another great group of barbeque competitors for a night of fun as they share their favorite championship style Beef Brisket. We will once again be holding the event at the driving range as we partner with Sanford International, Fireplace Professionals, Jorgensen Land & Cattle, and Dakota Butcher in making this one of the social highlights of the tournament. Be sure to stop by and enjoy some great music by Jocko Deal, taste the briskets, and place your vote for People’s Choice Award!”
