(St. Paul, MN) — A meat packing company is recalling thousands of pounds of ground beef linked to an E. coli outbreak in Minnesota. The USDA has ordered Wolverine Packing Company to recall 167-thousand pounds of ground beef that was produced in October. The meat was served by at least two restaurants in the Twin Cities area and has now been linked to 17 E. coli cases. Two of those people had to be hospitalized due to the illness.
