Minnesota Farm Bureau to Host Second Annual Urban Agriculture Conference

EAGAN, Minn. – The Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation (MFBF) is excited to announce the second annual Urban Ag Conference, scheduled for February 22, 2025.

This free event will take place at St. Paul College, offering urban farmers the chance to connect with peers and engage with local and state leaders on key issues facing urban agriculture and food systems. The conference is free for all attendees, but registration is required.

The conference will feature three panel discussions, along with resource and knowledge-sharing sessions to help farmers access valuable organizations and resources. A full schedule, including speaker details, is available at https://fbmn.org/Participate/Urban-Ag-Conference.

“We’re excited to host the Urban Ag Conference again this year,” said Rachel Reisig, MFBF Director of Communications and conference coordinator. “The energy and enthusiasm at last year’s event was incredible, and we look forward to bringing everyone together once more to connect and grow.”

Panel topics will include: How to Be an Advocate, Growing the Next Generation, and Making Your Urban Farm Economically Viable. The networking and knowledge-sharing sessions will feature a variety of local and state agencies, as well as other organizations, ready to answer questions and provide valuable resources for attendees.
