LUBBOCK, TX. — National Sorghum Producers (NSP) welcomes the American Bankers Association (ABA) as a Contributor Level sponsor in the NSP Industry Partner program.

“We are excited to welcome ABA to the NSP Industry Partner program,” said NSP Industry Relations Director Jamaca Battin. “Reliable financial resources are essential for sorghum producers, and ABA’s support reinforces the importance of strong banking partnerships in agriculture.”

ABA represents banks of all sizes, including the nation’s farm banks, which specialize in agricultural lending.

“There are nearly 1,500 banks in this country that specialize in agricultural lending, and more than 80% of all U.S. banks have agricultural loans in their portfolio,” said Ed Elfmann, senior vice president, agricultural policy at ABA. “America’s Banks are committed to the success of our nation’s farmers and ranchers, and partnerships like this one with NSP strengthen that connection with rural communities. We look forward to working with NSP and its members to continue advocating on behalf of rural America.”

“Whether sitting across the desk or at a community event, lenders and farmers are vital to rural America. We are grateful to ABA for seeing the significance of coming alongside National Sorghum Producers in our mission to support sorghum farmers,” said NSP Chairwoman Amy France. “Solid financing and good banker friendships are critical to farming another year.”

Support from industry partners like ABA helps NSP advocate for farm-friendly policies, expand market access, and provide valuable resources to growers.
