Weekly Export Sales are Weak for Corn and Soybeans

The latest USDA Weekly Export Sales report shows weaker sales for corn and soybeans in the week ending December 15th, 2022. Corn came in at the low end of pre-report estimates and soybeans were below the lowest trade estimate.

China was the main player in the soybean trade while Mexico was the leading corn buyer. Soybean meal sales hit a four week high while pork net sales were strong at 58,700 MT. Mexico, Japan and Canada were the top pork buyers on the week.

Beef sales were dismal though at just 4,500 MT on the week with Japan the top buyer.
